Frequently asked questions

Incident management, security, billing, and integrations—structured like a postmortem: clear, sourced, no fluff.

Incidents & deploy context (Enterprise)

What is ProdRescue AI?
ProdRescue turns logs and Slack threads into structured incident reports—timeline, root-cause narrative, and evidence references so claims map to source lines. On Enterprise, GitHub webhooks can also run automatic deploy analysis (what changed + cautious risk read) in parallel. Deploy analysis and log-backed RCA stay separate.
How long does it take to generate an incident report?
Typically under a few minutes end-to-end. Compare that to manually correlating logs, Slack, and dashboards for half a day or more.
Will ProdRescue replace our on-call engineers?
No. It takes care of formatting and a solid first draft. Engineers still judge impact, approve messaging, and own remediation—ProdRescue shortens the write-up, not the decisions.
How does evidence-backed RCA work?
The pipeline extracts events, proposes causes, and ties statements to specific log excerpts (e.g. [1], [6]). If it isn’t in the logs, we don’t claim it.
Can I customize the executive summary for my leadership team?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise plans include sections you can emphasize or shorten for executives, customers, or compliance reviewers—without redoing the whole report by hand.
What can I export or share?
You get a rich in-app report and PDF export; Enterprise adds branding-oriented layouts. Sharing links depend on your plan and workspace settings.

Security & privacy

Is my log data secure and private?
We minimize sensitive data leaving your session: client-side sanitization, ephemeral server processing, and no training on your customer logs. Enterprise includes outputs aligned with SOC 2–style reporting expectations.
Do you retain my raw logs?
We don’t keep raw logs as a product feature—processing is ephemeral. Account and billing metadata follow our Privacy Policy.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. We do not use your incident content to train foundation models.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
We design workflows and reporting to support teams pursuing SOC 2. Certification status evolves—ask us for the latest attestation if procurement requires it.
Who can see my reports?
Only your workspace (and people you share with, if you use sharing features). Use SSO on Enterprise where configured; see Terms and Privacy for details.

Pricing & plans

Can I use ProdRescue for free?
Yes. Free includes 3 quick analyses. If you need more, pay-per-use is available at $2-$5 per incident, and Pro is $19/month for unlimited basic RCA.
What’s the difference between Free, Pro, and Enterprise?
Free gives 3 quick analyses. Pay-per-use charges per incident ($2-$5) for deeper one-off debugging. Pro ($19/mo) is for recurring incident work with unlimited basic RCA. Enterprise ($99+) is a waitlist tier for Slack/GitHub automation and shared workflows.
What’s included in the free analyses?
We currently run a usage-first model: Free (3 analyses), pay-per-use per incident, and Pro monthly. Enterprise is available via waitlist.
Do you offer annual billing or discounts?
Contact us for annual or multi-seat pricing—we’ll match something sensible for your stage.
Is there an enterprise tier?
For larger rollouts, security reviews, or custom terms, email info@prodrescueai.com or use the contact form. We’ll scope onboarding and any special requirements.

Integrations

Which log sources are supported?
Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, Slack (threads and exports), plus generic JSON and plain text—paste or upload. Enterprise also connects GitHub for webhooks (deploy analysis) and PR workflows.
How does Slack integration work?
On Enterprise, install the Slack app and use /rescue (and related flows) to capture channel context and trigger reports without leaving chat. Optionally configure a channel ID for short deploy-analysis notifications.
Which plan includes GitHub — manual vs automatic?
Enterprise includes GitHub for commit import, manual deploy risk scan in the app, automatic deploy analysis via webhook, Suggest Fix, and opening PRs from incident findings.
Can we use private LLMs or a VPC deployment?
Today ProdRescue calls managed model APIs under strict handling practices. If you need dedicated or self-hosted inference, talk to us—we’ll see what fits your security bar.
